Hi everyone! Today I want to share with you my final project using the August kit, Royal Birthday Wishes, from the Sampler. I am not usually much of a card maker, but today.....
I used bits of washi tape from a previous kit as well as lots of the stickers in this month's kit to create this special card.
Be sure and grab your August kit before they are all gone.
Hugs.

Blue Canvas - Your Memories Here
Hi everyone,Today I want to share with you my final color canvas. I have had such fun making these and I hope you will find time to make them to. Don't forget, there is a video tutorial available if you are interested in creating your own canvas.
Love the beautiful blooms available in the Prima Grab Bags....added with a bits of lace, beautiful bling and a resin piece and wood icon, this canvas is ready to hang.
And, although they are not hanging yet, I have found a place in my home where they will be perfect. Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs.

Your A Star - Hydrangea Hippo
Hi everyone! Well, today I wanted to share with you a few projects I made for Hydrangea Hippo using one of the kits from the store.
Everything in these photos (except the adhesive can be found in this gorgeous kit. I love that each of the kits includes an assortment of embellishments that can make any project special
All that is needed is a little creativity and a bit of adhesive and you are good to go. I like foam squares. hee hee
Next I decided to make a mini album. This kit is so full there are still plenty of goodies left for that.

This set includes a cute little paper bag that I used as the cover for my album. Not only does the bag add some sturdiness, but it creates a cute little pocket to hold a few extra photos.
Finally, I couldn't resist scrapbooking a 12x12 layout of my son with his new car. The colors and embellishments in this kit were just perfect.
This kit includes some yummy yellow glitter and blue chalk ink that I had to put to use over and over again on these projects. And I know it is hard to believe, but there were still some scraps left over.

Hello Beautiful - The Sampler
Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share with you a project I made using this month's Home Sweet Home kit from the Sampler. I have really been enjoying the wonderful textures and colors in this month's kit and think this might be my favorite project yet with this kit.
I am still learning about my light box, so forgive the funky shadows. I think I may need more lights. The three I have just don't seem to be enough and if I move them...well, you can see the funky glare coming from the left. sigh....
I used a sketch from Page Drafts to help create this project. If you haven't had a chance to check out their sketches, you totally should.
And speaking of sketches....You should definitely check out the sketch and card challenges over at the Sampler blog! Lots of cool prizes to be won.
Hugs.

5 Reasons - The Sampler
Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share with you a project I made with this month's kit from the Sampler, Warm. This is of course Mackenzie, hanging out at a swim meet. I have had this photo on my desk for a while and thought it would be fun to scrap it with the reasons she swims. She came up with all the things that would make me hate it...and then informed me it is a swim thing. I guess that is code for teenager? Anyway..... I used a sketch from Creative Scrappers, #225.
I am loving the "do it yourself" Thickers that came in the kit. Not only are there a ton of alphas, but there are numbers and symbols as well. And of course I am having fun playing with the sequins, gorgeous Eclectic by Echo Park papers, and October Afternoon chipboard.
Don't forget about the card and sketch challenges that will be closing soon. You don't need to have a kit to play, and there is a good chance you could win a prize!Hugs.

Love Your Memories Here
Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share with you a new project I made using the gorgeous Declarations Collection from Pink Paislee. When I first purchased this kit I thought I would use it for our Fourth of July photos. Unfortunately, the boys were out of town and the girls and I went to a BBQ in the afternoon and then just hung low that night. Not much in the way of patriotic photos.
Luckily, this collection is good for so much more! This time, a photo of my love, Phil. hee hee Hard to believe we have been together for 22 years now. We will actually celebrate our 20 wedding anniversary next year!
Of course there was lots of distressing with my Prima Distress Tool. I changed the center of my flower using some Fired Brick Distress Stain and used a bit of doily I picked up from HSN. A few Prima letters, a Paper Trey Ink Banner die and a bit of ball trim and my project was complete.
I am really happy with the way it turned out. And so happy that my beloved paper is not going to waste because I didn't have any Patriotic photos.
OK, well.....gotta run.
Hugs.

Hey everyone! We are right in the middle of a fun, holiday weekend in the US and I don't even know if anyone is checking their blogs....but I wanted to share with you the September kit from the Sampler, "Flying High".
This kit is filled with gorgeous blues and greens, lace, felt, die cuts and tapes. As well as some gorgeous goodies from Hambly....which I know I miss already.
I have started digging in...and am hoping this long weekend gives me lots of time to play some more.
Hugs.

Oh My....
Sorry everyone. Yesterday I was up super early as the children now have morning swim practice (5:00 am for Brighton, 5:45 for Mackenzie) and somehow it just slipped my mind that I needed to blog here. oops.
Good thing that come Thursday we are having a Sampler Blog Hop and I will be able to share my project then. hee hee
Well, how about something from Pink Paislee while we wait?
The Declaration collection from Pink Paislee is just gorgeous, full of fun patterns and colors that are good for so much more than just 4th of July. I love the elements for boy pages. Sometimes it is hard to find papers and embellishments for the older boys in our lives.
OK, Well....Back to work.
Hugs.

Thursday- A Little Peek
Hi everyone! Goodness things are still crazy here...planning for another championship swim meet, Phil's birthday is today (happy birthday, honey) and trying to get caught up on everything else around here. I wanted to sneak in and share that i have a blog post up today at Hydrangea Hippo, a super cute/fun group of projects using a kit from Jennifer's store. The projects include this layout of my dh learning to surf.
The colors in this kit are fabulous and I really love all the fun buttons and baubles this kit came with (seriously....check out the post at Hydrangea Hippo). I used my Bind-it-All to crate a little mini album for my page to showcase a few other photos.
Anyway....back to work.

My Love - Your Memories Here
Hi everyone! Today I am here to share with you a recent project I made using the Declarations line from Pink Paislee. This mini collection is full of cute patterned papers and stickers that I couldn't resist playing with for more than just July 4. Here, a photo of my three children created this quick and easy layout.
You know I couldn't resist throwing in a few flowers, many from Prima Marketing.
Speaking of Prima Marketing, have you seen the summer collections that are coming out now at CHA? Swoon! And of course, Kristina @ Your Memories Here has all the collections as well as three different sizes of grab bags to chose from available now on pre-order, as well as a few more winter CHA bags.
I know I plan on placing my order early and simply can't wait for everything to arrive. The only question is....which to choose, which to choose?
Guess I am off to try and decide.
Hugs.

I Warned You
So, after a crazy, swim filled weekend I am back today with a quick post to share my latest project for Miracles Momma. Heather once again came up with a wonderful sketch to play with
Fun, huh! Here is my take.
I flipped things around a bit and added individual photos instead of the larger ones. But I think you can see it. These are some photos from almost two years ago, surfing in Oceanside, CA. So much fun. And look at the size of those long boards. It makes it much easier to learn is what I have been told.
Anyway, be sure and check out the other designer takes on the sketch here.
Hugs.

Wednesday - Time for a Vacation?
Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great day. Things with swim are really heating up here, so I am a bit late this morning. So many details to cover...sigh. Soon it will all be over and life will go back to normal, but until then.....
I really am ready for a vacation, but fortunately I am lucky enough to live in a place that many people consider a vacation destination. Sometimes I am still amazed we live in such a scenic place.
I used some of my older Prima papers from Your Memories Here to complete this project.
And of course I coupled the gorgeous papers with a bit of Alecon lace and beautiful Prima blooms.
I even through in a few buttons and baubles from Prima. I love that the grab bags from Your Memories Here offer such a variety of goodies. And right now, today only, everything at Your Memories Here is 33% off in honor of our owner, Kristina's, 33rd birthday!
So be sure and hop over there and grab some goodies.
Hugs.

Declaration- Your Memories Here
Hi everyone! For those of you in the USA, Happy July 4! I hope you are having a great day full of festivities. Not sure what we are up to yet, but I am sure there will be fireworks involved.
Today I want to share with you a project I made using Declaration papers by Pink Paislee that I purchased from the Your Memories Here store. These photos were taken at our swim team overnighter....which is where Ainsley got to spend her birthday. Nothing like having 100+ friends to sing "Happy Birthday" at midnight.
I used a sketch from my good friend Heather...yep...that Heather. lolI used lots of older Prima flowers and a Pink Paislee doily for embellishments.
And one little Webster's Pages flower.
Well, thanks for stopping by.
Hugs.

Fun Day
Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great day today. Me....I have been cleaning. After our freak rainstorm the other day, I needed to get out in the yard, uncover the furniture and clean up the mess left behind. I doubt I will be scrapping photos of that in this cute little mini album I made with my leftover October Afternoon supplies and Scraptastic kit.
Lately I have had so many extras left over from my kits that I just haven't known what to do with. So, I decided to start creating some little mini books with my Bind-it-All. Just for fun. I love that I can use all different sizes of papers in my books by just varying where the o wires go.
Well, Back to work.
Hugs.

Blast Off for the Summer
Hi everyone! Hooray for Friday!!! Not sure if I am excited for the weekend or not tho, to be honest. Tomorrow we have our cabana time trials and that means the coming of cabana swim season. And that means that every Saturday, except one, from now till August we have a swim meet. Yep....crack of dawn every Saturday we are at the pool. sigh
That's enough whining from me for now. How about a project? Remember those party decorations I made for my friend Sue's grandson. How about a layout to go with.
This too came from the Blast Off paper crafting kit from Hydrangea Hippo.
Love, love, love the gorgeous trims in this kit. And the cute little doo dads were so much fun to play with.
And of course there was lots of fussy cutting. Far too many great motifs to work with not to.
In other notes.....Today is the release of the June Sampler kit, Walking on Sunshine. These kits just keep getting better and better.
And this month we have tons of fun planned. Our sketch and card challenges, another blog hop, and a color challenge I will be hosting over on Ideas for Scrapbookers; talk about chances to win some prizes! If you aren't already following us over at the Sampler you will definitely want to so you can keep up on all the goings on. And don't worry, you don't have to have the kit to play.
Well, speaking of kits....guess I need to dive into this one.
Hugs.

Your Memories Here - Songbird
A bit of distressing with my Comfort Craft Distress Tool and a bit of ink added quite a bit of texture. I have really been enjoying the effects I can create with the tool.
I used quite a few different Prima flowers to create my floral clusters, accenting some of the flat flowers with pearls. And a bit of Prima lace under my title. And yep....I did this page while visiting Prima. hee hee
You too can find a great selection of Prima products at Your Memories Here in the grab bags. The bags come in three different sizes and offer you a great selection of products to play with. I love the selection I get in mine and am already looking forward to what may be in store for Summer 2012. Eeek...guess I best get busy using what I already have.
Hope you're having a great day.
Hugs.

Oops.....
I did it again. And now that song is going to be stuck in my head. I guess it is payback for not stopping in earlier today. I don't know why, but I was just so tired that I slept in till 9:00. Well, kinda. I woke up at 6:00 and then at 7:00 and then at 8:00...but I got up at 9:00, so I guess I slept in till then. lol
Maybe I was procrastinating on sharing this project because I knew I was going to have to blur the photos? They were taken Easter Sunday and Mackenzie was still fairly swollen from having her wisdom teeth pulled. Needless to say she was not happy with me and I told her I wouldn't post the photos of her swollen on the blog. I am going with blurring her out makes it ok...shhhh.
I used lots of the American Crafts Dear Lizzy, Neapolitan line for these Easter photos. The papers, some of the trims, the crepe paper, chipboard and pinwheels. And of course I could resist mixing in a bit of Prima.
The colors in the Dear Lizzy line are so full of spring.
Oh, and that little bit of green Prima lace? sigh...I think I need a whole spool.
OK, I think I hear Mackenzie home from the pool. Better get this done before she sees what I am doing.
Hugs.
