Play Nice - The Sampler
Hi everyone! Today I want to share with you a new project using the Simply Sweet kit from the Sampler Kit Club. This months kit is so super cute and I just couldn't wait to dive right in. I love the trims, the patterns, the colors...OK, I love it all! lol
All the gorgeous colors and designs in this kit are just perfect for these goofy photos of my girls playing Twister. Do you remember playing Twister? Lately the children have been having a blast with this old standby. Of course they tried to get me to play...I have been able to resist so far. hee hee
I really love the "Do It Yourself" Thickers Holly has been placing in the kits. They make title work so easy. And I loved this sketch I found over at Pagedrafts.
Thanks for stopping by today and checking out the newest kit from The Sampler. And be sure and take a peak back at the Sampler challenge post for your chance to win some fabulous prizes.
Hugs.

1 Goofy Girl - The Sampler
Hi everyone! Can I just tell you I am loving this month's kit, Live Life! It is so super cute, just filled with all kinds of fabulous goodies. I couldn't wait to dig in.
The children are usually pretty good about tolerating my propensity to snap photos, but occasionally.... Well, be careful when I have a camera in my hands, because if I get photos of the faces you make And if i have the photos printed.....well, you know what comes next.....
Be sure and check out this month's gorgeous kit and all the others at the Sampler and don't forget to try our card and sketch challenge for your chance to win some great prizes.
Hugs.

Honestly, those have to be some of the cutest faces ever! I just can't believe how grown up Ainsley is getting. Cry...She is hardly a baby anymore.
I used a sketch from PageDrafts to create this project. It was a holiday sketch, but I have been all about the banners lately, and this kit has such a great collection of patterns to mix and match to make them, I just couldn't resist. And with my cute little Papertrey Ink banner dies and the gorgeous goodies in the kit (including my other current love, baker's twine. hee hee) This project came together in a snap. Can I just say how much I love the pink.Be sure and check out this month's gorgeous kit and all the others at the Sampler and don't forget to try our card and sketch challenge for your chance to win some great prizes.

You Spin Me Round
Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share with you something I had made for Zutter that is completely different. Yes, there are papers involved, and of course, my trusty o-Wires. But this....
This was something totally different. A teacup mobile.
I cut the teacup using my Cricut and the Tags, Bags Boxes and More 2 cartridge (6 inches). I first cut the chipboard and then cut the patterned paper (Pink Paislee Spring Jubilee) and assembled.
I squished some 1 inch pink o-wires with my Bind it all, then stretched them out.
And attached lots of fun goodies I had lying on my desk to my stretched wires.
This would be a great project for those o-Wires that get messed up sometimes. hee hee
Super fun to make and of course Ainsley has already claimed it as hers. lol
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs.

Thursday- A Little Peek
Hi everyone! Goodness things are still crazy here...planning for another championship swim meet, Phil's birthday is today (happy birthday, honey) and trying to get caught up on everything else around here. I wanted to sneak in and share that i have a blog post up today at Hydrangea Hippo, a super cute/fun group of projects using a kit from Jennifer's store. The projects include this layout of my dh learning to surf.
The colors in this kit are fabulous and I really love all the fun buttons and baubles this kit came with (seriously....check out the post at Hydrangea Hippo). I used my Bind-it-All to crate a little mini album for my page to showcase a few other photos.
Anyway....back to work.
Hugs.

Anyway, having so much fun with all these canvas bags and gorgeous blooms and trims from the Hydrangea Hippo etsy store.

YMH - Spring Jubilee
Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!!! I hope you are having a great day today. Me? Lots to do around the house. Cross your fingers that I am able to catch up around here. I have been enjoying these early, lazy days of summer....but that means not much is getting done. Oh well...as my children always say...YOLO! hee hee
Well, today I wanted to share with you a project I made using the super fun Spring Jubilee collection from Pink Paislee. I love the fun, bright colors in these papers and couldn't resist using them to scrapbook these photos of Mackenzie's birthday.
And you know I had to add lots of yummy Prima flowers to this layout and a Spring Jubilee shipping tag to document the day.
OK, well back to work.....Lots to do...lots to do.
Hugs.

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday. Sorry I haven't been around much...summer is kicking my........ Well, I hope you are having a great day. Me? it is going to be hot, hot, hot and that means time to grill. Maybe some more big, juicy, burgers?
I love the fun patterns and colors in this kit and am so sad to see it gone, but you can still get yours here.
That huge burger Ainsley is trying to stuff in her face just cracks me up! Be sure and check out the June, Walking on Sunshine kit from the Sampler.
Later this week we will be having a color challenge using some of the colors in this kit over at Ideas for Scrapbookers. You won't want to miss it!

Fun Day
Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great day today. Me....I have been cleaning. After our freak rainstorm the other day, I needed to get out in the yard, uncover the furniture and clean up the mess left behind. I doubt I will be scrapping photos of that in this cute little mini album I made with my leftover October Afternoon supplies and Scraptastic kit.
Lately I have had so many extras left over from my kits that I just haven't known what to do with. So, I decided to start creating some little mini books with my Bind-it-All. Just for fun. I love that I can use all different sizes of papers in my books by just varying where the o wires go.
Well, Back to work.
Hugs.

Tried & True
Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great day. Me....not so bad. Having a bit of a problem with Photoshop...but nothing new there. lol DH is home today as he hopes to get the chance to do some work on his climbing wall and outdoor kitchen. Of course, that isn't happening as he is sitting playing on his computer. lol
Today I wanted to share with you a project I made using more of the Genuine Collection from Authentique and lots of gorgeous blooms from Prima. (yep...all these pretty much came from the boxes we were allowed to dig in while at the NSD crop.
I took Ainsley and her friend to an Earth Day celebration at our Whole Foods Market. They had an amazing petting zoo....goats, rabbits, chickens, lambs, alpacas...yep...alpacas. Of course, I didn't get a good shot...but I promise there were two of them.....
I am really loving the blue and yellow combination in this line from Authentique. Works so well for many subjects.Well, I have bunches of things to get done and while dh is busy sitting on his computer, I can't have him thinking this is all I do all day. hee hee
Hugs.

The Sampler - Dye It
Hi everyone! Sorry I missed you yesterday, but it was crazy around here. We got my scrap room painted on Mother's Day, but that meant yesterday I spent the day putting everything back in its place. I think I may make too many things. lol Well, more about my scrap room in a bit.....
Today I wanted to share with you a project I made using this month's kit from the Sampler, Two Scoops. I love, love, love the colors in this kit. So bright and springy.
The Hambly transparency was just perfect to add a bit of depth and texture to my layout. And I used a bit of baker's twine left over from my April kit.
Wood buttons, gorgeous colors and cute decorated brads were just perfect for the sketch I received from my good friend Heather. There is still time to enter the April sketch and card challenges at the Sampler. And later this week we will have the May challenges up.
OK, so onto my scraproom and our winner.....
Last Thursday, I stopped at the Ace Hardware next to the pool because they carry my favorite Benjamin Moore Paint; and found a lovely, bright summery yellow called Sundance. Well, the Ace next to my house has a different display unit, so I couldn't find the color I was looking for. I picked up the phone and called Phil, who unfortunately remembered the name of the color as Sunburst. Well, needless to say, the Sunburst was just a bit too bright, almost like a yellow highlighter....so we had to start over. At least we had only painted one wall. lol
So, now the room is a bright, but not too bright, sunny yellow and everything is back in place. I think I need to open an etsy shop or something to share all the goodies (mini books and off the page projects) I have been making.
So, our winner of the 52 Challenges book is....
Heather. So, Heather....send me your mailing information and I will get your book out to you.
Hugs.

Messy Play
Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share with you a quick little project I made using a piece of canvas left over from my Sampler kit.
I used one of the Prima Marketing masks and some fun Pan Pastels to make the background. I used some Fabri Tac to hold it together, then, I added some Prima Lace and flowers. So quick and simple.
I loved playing with these colors. They aren't usually something I do, but they seemed so bright and cheery.
Finally I used a Crate Paper brad to hold it all together and keep the little clutch closed.
I am really pleased with how this project turned out and look forward to playing with pastels more in the future.
Well, gotta run.
Hugs.

Monday, Monday
Hi everyone! Sorry I am a bit late posting today but it has, once again, been a crazy Monday. My husband got back late last night/early this morning and so today was the first time we have been able to talk in a few days...on top of that we of course have school....well.....enough excuses.
Today I want to share with you a project I made for my good friend Heather. She makes some of the best sketches and always lets me play along.
Isn't that cute? She has mad sketching skills...as well as digi skills.
Here is my take. This is before we began hunting for the eggs. It kinda does double duty because these are some of the first photos since our backyard redo.
I used some of my new Pink Paislee Spring Jubilee papers with lots of ribbons and trims as well as a few blooms and stick pins from the Hydrangea Hippo etsy store. She has got some amazing stuff. You certainly should check it out.
Well, off to swim lessons with Ainsley.
Thanks for dropping by. Hugs.

Hi everyone, Happy Tuesday. I wanted to share with you another project I made with the March Sampler kit. I have begun working with the April kit...which is just gorgeous, but don't have anything quite ready to share yet.
Hugs.
Nancy
I splattered a bit of the Mr. Hueys on my background and once again used my felt to create some flowers.
Don't forget, there is still time to enter the Card and Sketch challenges over on The Sampler blog.Hugs.
