Hi everyone today I want to share with you a project I made using a Prima grab bag from Your Memories Here. I love that each grab bag has a number of different products in it from an assortment of the latest Prima lines.
Here I started with a base from the Zephyr line and a sketch from Stuck on U Sketches, by Nanne Harry, that I distressed using the Prima Comfort Craft Distress Tool. I also added a bit of gesso to my page with the help of a Prima mask. I used a brick mask, but how cute would the polka dots have been.....
a few flowers, beads, trinkets, a banner, bling, and other baubles...
(don't you just love the new light bulbs) and my clusters came together.
With a mix of items from both the Zephyr line and other goodies from the latest Prima release this project came together quickly. And, there are still grab bags and complete collections available in the Your Memories Here store, so grab one for yourself today.
Hugs.
Nancy

After All These Years - Your Memories Here
Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share with you a bit about the My Prima Place magazine. Did you know that when you place your Prima order with Your Memories Here you get a fabulous publication that is produced by Prima Marketing? Each issue is chock full of inspiration with lots of projects both on and off the page (many have step by step instructions), a designer showcase, challenges, and freebies (yep, gorgeous free Prima paper).
I took the recipe challenge from Vol. 1 to complete this layout. The recipe called for lots of goodies from the Almanac collection, which I just happened to have on hand thanks to my fabulous grab bag from Your Memories Here.
The florals, wood clocks, canvas resist, and pearls...oh my! They were just crying out to be layered and stacked. And I used my Prima Distress Tool to distress my papers for texture.
There is still time for you to grab a complete collection, even the mid release Firefly, or mixed bag (three sizes available) and the newest volume of My Prima Place. So....what are you waiting for? Isn't it time for a bit of inspiration?Hugs.

Sassy Lil' Sketches
Have I mentioned how excited I am to be a Sassy? Yep, and guess what? I am a 28th Sassy and today is the 28th....so this is my first full reveal! Hooray Me!!! lol
Cherie Sent this super cute sketch. I really loved the space for a long title, all the fun layers, the great border.
And here is my take
This is my sister and her husband. Aren't they so cute together? I am mounting this on a canvas and am giving it to them for their anniversary. I used some Glimmer Mist on a piece of lace I had to make it match the layout. A lot of distressing because, well, I like distressing. The color combination really seemed to suit these photos and the lace, flowers, and bling flourishes lent an air of romance, IMHO...LOL...I know, I am a goof. hee hee

Sweet Saturday
If you are looking for the information on my RAK, check it out here.
It's Saturday, and boy do I have a lot to tell you today.
First up....How about some new scrappiness.....
This one if for a fun class I have been doing over at Big Picture Scrapbooking. A while back I won Nic Howard's Dimensional Detail class from Prima Marketing. It has been fun. This week the focus was on adding stitching. So, I broke out the sewing machine and..... Lots of yummy Pink Paislee goodies. I am loving the swirly flowers. They feed my flower addiction while still remaining somewhat "masculine.
And here is Amanda and I on the beach in Florida. So much fun. Love me some Webster's Pages goodies. And you know...these days...loving some burlap. Thinking I am gonna head out in a bit to the new Joann's Fabrics and see about acquiring some canvas. I am having so much fun adding fabric to my pages.
On the homeschooling front, things are slowing down and wrapping up. I plan on doing a review of my year, what things did and didn't work. It has been quite an adventure with the charter school, Brighton's starting high school, Mackenzie's digital arts...and you know everyday is an adventure with Ainsley! lol
Hope you are having a great weekend.....Chris, Sue and I are gonna head out for some fun girl time.
Hugs.
