Hi everyone! Today I have a fun project to share with you featuring lots of yummy goodies from Clear Scraps and Imagine Crafts. Imagine Crafts was super generous with sending the Clear Scraps team lots of goodies to play with. We received 12 colors of StazOn ink, 6 colors of IrRESTIBibles, the new GlazOn and some Ink Blushers. Well, you know I couldn't resist breaking out a few things and making something.
Using Jamie Dougherty's Sharon Bloom girl stamp from Prima Marketing, I stamped the ClearScraps Acrylic sheet with the Black StazOn. I then colored the backside of the image using a combination of the other colors of StazOn. Using InkBlushers and a Fantastix I was able to fill in all the details of the stamp.
When my inks were dry, I used the Quaterfoil Mascil and a mix of the Silver and Bronze IrRESISTibles to add texture. Once that dried...a few flicks of the Wedding Dress IrResistibles, a few rubons, flowers and a butterfly and my poject was complete.
I am very happy with how she turned out and look forward to finding a place for her to live in my home.
Hugs.

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!!! Are you having a happy Monday? Me? So far, So good...of course that is probably because Ainsley is still sleeping tho. lol
Today I want to share with you a Get Well card I made for a friend of mine's daughter. It is a Box Card. It folds flat for mailing, but pops open into a box when you take it out of the envelope..fun, huh.
I just can't stop playing with these Little Azalea Papers from Embellish by Dena and Darice. I have been so fortunate to have been working with them.

Photo Banner - Clear Scraps
Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great day! Today I wanted to share with you a project I have up over on the Clear Scraps blog....a fun photo banner.
I love these photos of the children (teens?) I took on the Fourth of July...I swear, the three of them look like they could be in an ad for a clothing store....I just love them so.
You know what else I love....banners....so I made this one to highlight the photos using the Clear Scrap Acrylic Five Piece Banner. Of course, I only used three of the pieces here. I embellished the banner with flowers from Darice, more of the gorgeous doilies I made using my Prima die, some older Pink Paislee chipboard flowers, Prima flower centers and trim...oh and the photos are using the Embellish by Dena Haute Girls collection papers. The baker's twine and gingham ribbon just came from my stash...so old, not really sure who made them. So much fun in such a little package. lol

She's Thirteen - Scrapbooking
Hi everyone! Happy humpday! Things around here, now that we are back to school, are slowly returning to normal. Goodness...whose bright idea was that swim team thing anyway...it totally consumes our summer. lol
Anyway, since I had so much fun showing you those photos of Ainsley at 13 in the layout on Monday, I thought I would share more photos of Ainsley from the same day....and how the heck did she get to be 13 anyway? Seems like just the other day she was 3.

Yep, that is what 13 looks like around here. lol Oh, and of course the fake glasses. sigh Love, love, love the older Crate Paper papers here. Wonder if I could still find them. Again, thinking this is from a sketch, tho I can't remember whose? I really need to work on that.
Thanks for stopping by,

This is 13 - Scrapbooking
Good Morning everyone! Happy Monday. For us it is the first day of school...don't know how much actual school we will be getting done, so many organizational, setting up Ainsley's folders, exploring the new materials, but...... Today I wanted to share with you a scrapbook layout I made with photos of Ainsley....yep, this is Ainsley, who is now 13! How is that even possible? sigh
And when did 13 start looking like this? lol These photos were taken on our way to dinner on her 13th birthday. Lots of older Webster's pages and Prima here...just a bit of texture paste as well...trying to keep things simple.
Well, I guess I have three teenagers now.
Thanks for stopping by.

Cupcake Gift Card Holder - Darice
Hi everyone! Woo Hoo for Friday! I hope you have great plans for the weekend....I know I do. hee hee Yep, that is a tease because I am not telling. You will find out soon enough I am sure.
Today I wanted to share with you a cupcake giftcard holder I made for Darice using Coredinations papers and lots of other goodies. You can see the full post and tutorial here. Gift cards are all it seems anyone wants these days, but it just doesn't seem special enough to give money or a gift card in an envelope...I don't know...just old fashioned I guess.
Have a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by.
Hugs.

Instax Scrapbooking- Clear Scraps & My Minds Eye
Hi everyone! I am trying so hard to get back on the blogging waggon....after a few false starts I am hoping that I am back to the routine of sharing with you. Now if I can just get back into the routine of linking to challenges....sigh.
Today I wanted to share with you a scrapbook layout I made using some older My Minds Eye papers and a super fun Border from Clear Scraps.

Not really sure I like the way this came out. I love my little Fuji Instax camera, and the fun prints it makes, but I am struggling a bit I guess in how to get them onto a page. sigh

Mixable Misty Mini and Prima
Hello everyone! Looks like I am on a roll sharing mini albums from Clear Scraps. Today I want to share with you another mini album I made for an upcoming beach trip. I love the Mixable Misty album, from Clear Scraps. The combination of acrlyic and chipboard is so fun and makes the designing a snap.
I filled the mini album with lots of gorgeous new Prima Seashore papers and embellishments, as well as some older items from my stash. I love the colors of the Prima Seashore collection. Just perfect for our Nothern California beaches.
I dry brushed the acrlyic pages with a mixture of texture paste and inks and to get the edges to really pop. The fun edges of the pages really deserve a little something extra.
I also inked the edges of my chipboard pages to help blend the edges of my papers with the chipboard.
When working on the album I tried to allow as much of the surrounding pages to show through the acrylic, taking full advantage of the beautiful see through property. And using double sided papers makes it that much easier to design the back sides.
Filled with little pockets and lots of room for journaling and photos, I can't wait to hit the beach and fill this book with wonderful memories.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs

Mixed Up Chipboard Mini - Clear Scraps
Hi everyone! Today I want to share with you a fun album I made using the All Mixed Up chipboard album from Clear Scraps. What? You didn't know that Clear Scraps had chipboard albums? Clear Scraps makes a fun variety of mini albums; acrylic, mixables, and chipboard. So much fun.
I filled my mini with papers from Authentique and lots of beautiful trims, flowers, and doilies. And of course lots of inking to age everything just a bit.
The doilies were made using a new die from Prima. Not sure if I need new plates, but I had to run the papers through my Sizzix machine a number of times to get it to cut. sigh Of course, they are so beautiful, it was totally worth it.
I love the Harmony collection from Authentique...mixed with a few items from my stash and lots of ink, they fill my need to make things shabby.
Of course, I couldn't keep the pages flat, so many flowers, resins, and pop dots, I had to add my own binder rings. Luckily you can purchase them in many different sizes. lol
I hope you enjoy this project. And be sure to check out all the album types that Clear Scraps makes.
