After All These Years - Your Memories Here

Hi everyone!  Today I wanted to share with you a bit about the My Prima Place magazine.  Did you know that when you place your Prima order with Your Memories Here you get a fabulous publication that is produced by Prima Marketing?  Each issue is chock full of inspiration with lots of projects both on and off the page (many have step by step instructions), a designer showcase, challenges, and freebies (yep, gorgeous free Prima paper).

I took the recipe challenge from Vol. 1 to complete this layout.  The recipe called for lots of goodies from the Almanac collection, which I just happened to have on hand thanks to my fabulous grab bag from Your Memories Here.

The florals, wood clocks, canvas resist, and pearls...oh my!  They were just crying out to be layered and stacked.  And I used my Prima Distress Tool to distress my papers for texture.

There is still time for you to grab a complete collection, even the mid release Firefly, or mixed bag (three sizes available)  and the newest volume of My Prima Place.  So....what are you waiting for?  Isn't it time for a bit of inspiration?

Fairy Tales

Hi everyone!  Sorry I am a bit late today...Monday and all.  If you are looking for the Sampler blog hop, scroll down a bit.  Today I want to share with you a project I just made using some of my yummy goodies from the Your Memories Here store with some beautiful trims from Hydrangea Hippo.

This is an old photo from a few years back when we visited Disney Land.

 I love the beautiful, soft colors in the Almanac collection from Prima.  They are just a dream to work with.

 And the trim from Hydrangea Hippo suited this project perfectly.

Better Late....

Hi everyone!  Sorry I am a bit late today, but sometimes....life just gets in the way.

I wanted to share a layout I made using the new Prima Almanac line I received from Your Memories Here.  The papers, flowers, and chipboards are just beautiful.

Phil and I just celebrated our 19th anniversary and truly are, always together.  I don't have many photos of the two of us as I am always the one behind the camera, but.....

 I really love my Prima Distressing tool.  It made quick work of the paper edges.

 I also used a bit of Distress Stain mixed with some Multi-Medium to fill my mask for added texture.

I added in a bit of lace I received from Hydrangea Hippo.  It fit this layout beautifully.

Playing with all these fun Prima goodies from the Your Memories Here store just makes me want all the more to attend the upcoming Sweet Retreat.

Monday - Diva Day

Hi everyone!  I wanted to remind you that you still have time to head over to Hydrangea Hippo for a chance to win some fabulous prizes!  You can also pick up the Limited Edition Diva Paper Crafting kit for a great price!

I love, love, love the little dangles that came in the kit.  The papers, laces, and other trims are fabulous!  There is so much to play with I made a number of different projects.  First.....a mini album.
