Hi everyone! Well, it is that time again. Time for another gorgeous sketch from Heather Landry over at Miracle Mommas Designs. As usual, Heather created a gorgeous sketch for us to play with.
Here is the sketch.
And my take...
I used the new Collectable/Notable papers from My Minds Eye. I picked these up at my Local Scrapbook Store and they are just gorgeous. This project just came together so quickly. Ainsley is growing way too fast. sigh

Birdcage Home Decor - Your Memories Here
Hi everyone! Nancy here today to share with you a project I made using some of my favorite supplies from my Your Memories Here Prima grab bag.
I love that spring is just around the corner and we have had some of the most glorious weather. I couldn't resist bringing a little of the gorgeous sunshine into my home by creating a home decor item.
I found this little bird cage at a local shop and couldn't resist adding a few flowers from my Your Memories Here grab bag and a bit of dyed seam binding. Blues and oranges just seemed to scream spring to me.
I dyed some seam binding with a bit of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and scrunched for a shabby bow.
I love the combination of flowers both old and new. Some from the Romance Novel line, some from Zephyr, and some from collections gone by.
Be sure and pop over to the Your Memories Here store to grab some gorgeous flowers and glimmer mist to bring spring inside your home today.
Hugs.

Grumpy - the Sampler
Hi everyone! Today I want to share with you a project I made for the Sampler using the Simply Sweet kit. Ainsley is such a goof. She selected her Halloween costume last year based on the hat. She is in love with animal hats these days....go figure.
The fun, bright colors in this kit are some of my favorites. I couldn't resist fussy cutting some of the cute doily shapes from the patterned paper and the October Afternoon mist in this kit is just the perfect color to coordinate and liven up my white background.
And of course, you know my love for Thickers....these are so cute and mistable, although this time I chose to leave them their original color. Love that.
Don't forget about the sketch and card challenges her on the Sampler blog. Lots of great prizes to be won and you don't need to make a purchase to play.
Hugs.

Love is in the Air - Valentine's Crafts
Hi everyone! I know it has been a week since Valentine's Day, but I wanted to share with you a few of the items I made (or helped with) last week.
Ainsley wanted to make something for her friends at swim, so we set about making peanut butter truffles. Yum! Luckily I had purchased a bunch of mini wrappers for us to place them in. And Ainsley was willing to get her hands dirty...she did much of the work on these herself.
And of course the truffles needed a box. Thank goodness for my Cricut and the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge. Each of these boxes holds four truffles. Ainsley cut, and I assembled. She just couldn't seem to figure out how the boxes were supposed to come together.
Well, with all this making for Ainsley's friends, I had to make a few cards...This one for dh.....
and these for the children. Love that I was able to use up some of my scraps to assemble these...and my cricut for the glasses.
Did you have a good Valentine's Day?
Hugs.

Girl Meet Grill - The Sampler
Hi everyone! Today today to share with you a project I made with the Simply Sweet kit from the Sampler. I had this photo of myself grilling this last summer and thought it would be fun to scrap it.
I promise the bottom of the paper is straight in real life, there was a bit of a wind and it was blowing...hee hee I really love all the buttons in this kit. They are just super cute. Lately, I haven't been able to get enough buttons.
I misted the DIY Thickers with some mist from an older kit to match the buttons, adding a older set of Thickers as well as a banner for some interest.
Don't forget to check out this month's sketch and card challenge. There is still time to play.
Hugs.

Miles of Smiles - Disney Scrapbooking
Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great day...for those of you in the US...Happy Presidents' Day.
Today I wanted to share with you a project I made with this fabulous sketch by Heather Landry.... This is sketch number 32 for Heather...hard to believe she has made so many...wonder how many I played along with?
Here is my take...from this past Christmas at Disneyland. It isn't often that I get my photo with any of the characters since I am usually behind the camera...but this evening, at dinner, Minnie came up behind Phil and I and Mackenzie was able to snap this photo.
I used a bunch of older Disney papers along with my Cricut to put this together. I really need to try and make better use of my supplies. hee hee And scrap more of the photos from our numerous Disney vacations.
Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my project.
Hugs.

Disney Scrapbooking
Hi everyone! Nancy here! Today I wanted to share with you a project I made using one of Heather's sketches. I missed the deadline to share this last time, but the sketch was so cute I couldn't resist giving it a try.
Hope you are having a great day!
Hugs.

While waiting for dinner at Goofy's Kitchen on our last trip to Disneyland Mackenzie and Goofy struck up quite the relationship. There were repeated games of slide...followed by some serious games of slap. Such a great way to pass the time. And I was so happy that the children aren't bored yet with the whole Disney thing.
I used lots of older EK Success embellishments as well as some gorgeous jeweled Mickey heads from the Hydrangea Hippo etsy store.Hope you are having a great day!
Hugs.

Sandy Toes - Your Memories Here
Hi everyone! Well, Today I am back to share a layout I made with some of the yummy goodies I purchased at Your Memories Here. Each Prima release I always am sure to pick up either a grab bag or a complete collection to play with. From Summer CHA, I purchased a grab bag that came with some of the most amazing Zephyr collection goodies.
Sitting on the beach in Hawaii last summer, watching the children surf and relaxing were really lovely. And of course I had to take a photo of my sandy feet. lol And the gorgeous Zephyr collection from Prima was just perfect for that beach shot. I love all the flowers that are available in this collection.
I love all the goodies that always come in the Your Memories Here collection packs and grab bags.
Each collection pack or grab bag is full of the prettiest, most fun Prima products available that release. And often coordinates wonderfully with items from previous releases. Including some older flourishes, lovely resins and flowers.
I did quite a bit of distressing with my Prima distress tool as well as adding a few extra bits of trim from my Hydrangea Hippo stash.
Well, Back to work....
Hugs.

Hey You - Flip Card
Hi everyone! Well, it's Wednesday and this week seems to be just flying by. Before we know it it will once again be the weekend. woo hoo! Well, maybe not so much woo....swim meet. lol
Today I want to share with you a green friendship card I made using one of the Sizzix dies I purchased from Kristina at Your Memories Here.
I colored my stamped image using Tim Holtz Distress Markers. I love that these distress markers make it so easy to create a water color look on my project.
And of course I couldn't resist using a few gorgeous Prima Blooms to brighten the card and a bit of seam binding dyed with some green Glimmer Mist. This card is just perfect for spring.
A simple sentiment with a Prima sticker completed the look. I love the way this project came together with the mixture of Prima, Distress Markers, and Sizzix. I think this die has to be one of my favorite dies ever.
I hope you enjoy this card. I know I had fun making it.
Hugs.

Play Nice - The Sampler
Hi everyone! Today I want to share with you a new project using the Simply Sweet kit from the Sampler Kit Club. This months kit is so super cute and I just couldn't wait to dive right in. I love the trims, the patterns, the colors...OK, I love it all! lol
All the gorgeous colors and designs in this kit are just perfect for these goofy photos of my girls playing Twister. Do you remember playing Twister? Lately the children have been having a blast with this old standby. Of course they tried to get me to play...I have been able to resist so far. hee hee
I really love the "Do It Yourself" Thickers Holly has been placing in the kits. They make title work so easy. And I loved this sketch I found over at Pagedrafts.
Thanks for stopping by today and checking out the newest kit from The Sampler. And be sure and take a peak back at the Sampler challenge post for your chance to win some fabulous prizes.
