Time Flies

You know that old saying....Time flies when you are having fun.  I am not sure how much fun I have been having, but I can't believe I haven't had a chance to sit down and blog in almost a week.  sigh

I do have projects in the works tho!  Lovely things to share.  Let's start with a couple of layouts.....

I have been taking great joys these days in using older supplies.  Here I have more Scenic Route Paper, which I mixed with some brand new Prima leaves, an older Prima flower and a Maya Road rosette.   The layout is simple, but I was happy with it.  You wouldn't believe how much chipboard I have stashed away, just waiting to be used.  Funny the way we forget about these things once they are packed up.  This is based on a sketch from Sketchy Thursdays.
Some photos from Skagway, Alaska.  We saw some beautiful scenery and were extremely grateful for the extra layers that were provided for us on the excursion.

And the Halloween photos just keep coming.....Here is Ainsley and a few friends at a Halloween party just a month or so ago.  The girls all had a great time and their costumes were so fun.  I swear tho....I am never going to finish scrapping Halloween.  hee hee  Lots of fun, older, Imaginesce papers here....with a few of the coordinating embellishments.  And you know I could resist throwing in a bit of Prima, a flower and some bling.  hee hee
I also added in a bit of twine from The Twinery.  I am just loving playing with twine these days.
Well, I have tons of things to do...so for now....

Hugs.

Sassy Cards

Hello Everyone!  Well, the Sassy send of is still going with more sketches still coming.  Today I made two cards using this weeks sketches.

Here I turned the sketch on its side...mixing it up and all!

And here is my other....
Echo Park patterned paper, alphas, Daisy D's ribbon, Prima flowers, Vintage Image vintageholidaycrafts.com
I used Ranger crackle accents on the vintage images to add more deth.  I am very pleased with how they turned out.  I am really going to miss Cherie's sketches.  She makes card making so easy!

Be sure and pop over to the Sassy Lil' Sketches blog for your chance to win one of 8 ebooks and snag a few more sketches for your portfolio.

The End of Another Weekend

This weekend went by way too fast.  I can't believe it is over.  I don't think I got done 1/2 of what I had planned, but then...how did i expect to when I told Ainsley she could have a sleepover!  lol...Sleepover?  what a misnomer.  No one sleeps.  lol

I did manage to sneak a few layouts in.

Ainsley in her Halloween costume, heading out for trick or treats.
Imaginisce - Hallowhimsy Halloween Collection, Pencil Lines sketch.  Misc. chalk and Prima Flowers

These are a couple of older shots from Great America.  When Chris and I wanted to go to the Scrapbook Expo and I didn't have a baby sitter for the girls, we just dropped them across the street from the convention center with Chris's boys for the day.  Amusement parks make great babysitters.  This is for a challenge I am hosting over at Inspired to Scrap this month.
Pink Paislee MistleToe and Co, Prima Flowers, Seam Binding, Glimmer Mist, Misc. buttons.  ZVA bling

And finally, the children with their Halloween Pumpkins.  I had a massive headache that day and Phil helped the children with the carving....he didn't however remember to take photos.  So this is all I have.  sigh
The Color Room sketch and color palette.

Well, I have a few more things to do this evening before heading to bed.  Hope you had a great weekend.

Hugs.
