Believe Christmas Banner- Clear Scraps

Hi everyone!  Today I want to share with you a simple little banner I made for my niece.   I love the cute Believe Banner from Clear Scraps, and knew it would be perfect for her room.  (I did remove two of the pennants to make it fit better in her space, and no...the fence is not in her room.  lol)

Filled with vintage, childhood images and papers from October Afternoon, I knew she would enjoy this piece for years to come.  My sister is always asking for me to make things for her home.  hee hee

Sweet little stuffed animals, buttons, bling, and snowflakes, which were die cut from a Simon Says Stamps die,

and of course Santa coming down the chimney with his bag of goodies to place under the tree.

Dressing Up - Sizzix

Good morning crafty peeps!  Hope you are having a great day.  Today I want to share with you a little dresser I made using the Candy Box die from Sizzix and some older October Afternoon papers.

Using the little candy box die from Sizzix made creating the boxes simple as can be.  From there I just used Mat board to create a frame to hold the boxes together.

I painted the outside with a bit of acrylic paint from Liquitex, a few embellishments; a kite, flowers, a beautiful butterfly, and a few buttons for the feet, and I was done.

I have acquired quite a few little wood pieces lately and I think this might be the perfect way to store them on my desktop until they become more manageable.

Christmas Again

Hi everyone!  Today I wanted to share with you a project I made using the new October Afternoon papers, Make it Merry collection.  I really loved these papers but I am not quite sure I like the projects I have made with them.  lol

This is my table all set for Christmas dinner.

Hey everyone!  We are right in the middle of a fun, holiday weekend in the US and I don't even know if anyone is checking their blogs....but I wanted to share with you the September kit from the Sampler, "Flying High".

This kit is filled with gorgeous blues and greens, lace, felt, die cuts and tapes.  As well as some gorgeous goodies from Hambly....which I know I miss already.

I have started digging in...and am hoping this long weekend gives me lots of time to play some more.

Fun Day

Hi everyone!  I hope you are having a great day today.  Me....I have been cleaning.  After our freak rainstorm the other day, I needed to get out in the yard, uncover the furniture and clean up the mess left behind.  I doubt I will be scrapping photos of that in this cute little mini album I made with my leftover October Afternoon supplies and Scraptastic kit.

 Lately I have had so many extras left over from my kits that I just haven't known what to do with.  So, I decided to start creating some little mini books with my Bind-it-All.  Just for fun.  I love that I can use all different sizes of papers in my books by just varying where the o wires go.

Well, Back to work.
