Family Traditions - The Sampler

Hi Guys!

Look at me, trying to meet my New Years Resolution by actually not neglecting my blog.  lol

Today I wanted to share with you a project I made with the December kit from the Sampler.  Right now if you want a kit the best way is to email Holly directly or find us on Facebook.

I decided to do something a little different with this layout....a two pager with  4x6 photos.  I know, wow!  lol  But I have fallen in love with my little portable printer again and have found it so much easier, no more cutting photos.  lol

Anyway...

Love this fun kit.  The lovely chipboards, fun kraft sticker stars and the deer paper.  ***swoon***  I also added a bit of baker's twine (the twinery) and washi from my stash.

Be sure and check back for more stuff I made with this gorgeous kit!  You are not going to believe how many projects I made.  hee hee

Drink Up - Your Memories Here

Hi everyone!  Can you believe it is already the second day of a new year and I am here to post my second project?  hee hee  Today I want to share with you a project I made with the stunning Out of the Blue kit from Your Memories Here.  I just love all the goodies in this kit, the Fairy Belle papers and embellishments are just gorgeous, and the flowers in this kit...yummy!

I paired the beautiful goodies in the kit with a few items from my stash.  Some hand cut fabric banners, a bit of baker's twine from the Twinery, a couple of wooden birds from Maya Road and a few Prima leaves.

The colors in the Out of the Blue kit are just beautiful, so soft and girly.  And with my Prima Distress tool and some Distress Inks, I was able to create a beautiful, shabby chic layout.

Did I mention how much I love the mix of flowers in this kit?  ....oh my.

Oh My....

Sorry everyone.  Yesterday I was up super early as the children now have morning swim practice (5:00 am for Brighton, 5:45 for Mackenzie) and somehow it just slipped my mind that I needed to blog here.  oops.

Good thing that come Thursday we are having a Sampler Blog Hop and I will be able to share my project then.  hee hee

Well, how about something from Pink Paislee while we wait?

The Declaration collection from Pink Paislee is just gorgeous, full of fun patterns and colors that are good for so much more than just 4th of July.  I love the elements for boy pages.  Sometimes it is hard to find papers and embellishments for the older boys in our lives.

I used a sketch from Page Drafts which I have just fallen in love with lately.

Bits of mists with a mask, bakers twine, and many layers of foam dots under my stickers helped to add dimension.

OK,  Well....Back to work.

Tuesday's with the Sampler

Hi everyone!  Today I wanted to share with you a project I made using the April kit from The Sampler.  I love the beautiful teals, creams and blues in this months kit, and the bits of burlap, canvas and lace make me so happy.  And the Prima resin flowers and trinkets....swoon.  I think this has to be my favorite kit yet (and yes...I know I say that every month).

Here we have my youngest and my niece playing on a blanket in the yard.  They are so cute together...the seven year age difference means absolutely nothing to them.  lol

I used a mask with a bit of red mist on the canvas that was included in the Sampler kit to bring some red to my layout...since the girls were playing with the red blanket.  This kit has such great neutrals it can go with everything!  (wait till you see what else I made.  **big grin**)

 Look at that lace...and those gorgeous resins....

And baker's twine!  Oh my!!!!  How I love this kit from the Sampler.
