Get Better - Your Memories Here

Hi everyone today I wanted to share with you a card I made for my Grandmother using Pink Paislee Mistables paper and a few favorite colors of Distress Ink.

For the card base I used the Spring Distress color Squeezed Lemonade mixed with a little Wild Honey.  Both of which are currently available in the Your Memories Here store.

The flower was made using Prima Mistables canvas pieces which are a fabulous part of most grab bags and the Tim Holtz pine cone die from Sizzix (Did you know Kristina can special order you any die for 25% off MSRP?)  And finally, the sentiment was made using the new Prima Press which Kristina should have up in the store soon.  I love tiny type letters, and with this fun little tool I can make my own in whatever color combination I need for my project.

I hope my grandmother is feeling well soon and that you enjoy my little card.

Taste of Fall - The Sampler

Good morning bloggers! Today I want to share with you another project using the September kit from The Sampler kit club.  This kit is so full of yummy goodies the projects keep coming.  This time some photos of dh and I at a wine tasting at one of our local wineries.  (I know the photo looks crooked....I was having camera issues).

 

I love all the textures in this kit. The super cute felts, the lovely laces, and of course the washi tape.  I couldn't resist using lots of stitching and a sketch from Page Maps.

Hi everyone!  Hope you are having a great day.  Me....crazy busy.  Mackenzie being at the Junior college and me having to drive has become quite the adventure and can really suck up my morning.  Anyway.....

Today I wanted to share with you a project that I made featuring my wonderful husband using Miracles Momma Designs sketch #25.

I used some super cute goodies from My Minds Eye to complete this project featuring photos of Phil's birthday celebration.

Love my new chevron die from Die-namics.  Super fun.

Oh the Places - Your Memories Here

Hi everyone!  I hope you are having a great week.  I am recovering from our 10 days of house guests and trying to get back in the swing of things.

Today I wanted to share with you a project I made using the Spring Jubilee Collection from Pink Paislee.  The colors in this kit are just gorgeous and I paired them with some fun flowers from Prima that I picked up in a grab bag from Your Memories Here.

 Lots of fussy cutting and a bit of gesso on my backround paper really brought my page to life.

I used a Prima mask to add additional texture as well as lots of different Prima lace.

Work - the Sampler

Hi everyone!  Sorry I have been missing for a few days, but my Dad and Step Mother were in town for a bit and I got really caught up in family.....which is a good thing.

Any way, I am back today to share with you a project using the September kit, Flying High, from the Sampler.  This year Ainsley's science is Biology.  Needless to say, she is having a great time looking through the microscope.

 The office goodies from the kit this month were perfect for our school day photos.

And I really love the colors and the fun embellishments.

Don't forget, there is a new set of challenges over at the Sampler.  You don't need to use a Sampler kit to play and last month there weren't a ton of people playing so your odds of winning a prize are great.

Love Your Memories Here

Hi everyone!  Today I wanted to share with you a new project I made using the gorgeous Declarations Collection from Pink Paislee.  When I first purchased this kit I thought I would use it for our Fourth of July photos.  Unfortunately, the boys were out of town and the girls and I went to a BBQ in the afternoon and then just hung low that night.  Not much in the way of patriotic photos.

Luckily, this collection is good for so much more!  This time, a photo of my love, Phil.  hee hee  Hard to believe we have been together for 22 years now.  We will actually celebrate our 20 wedding anniversary next year!

Of course there was lots of distressing with my Prima Distress Tool.  I changed the center of my flower using some Fired Brick Distress Stain and used a bit of doily I picked up from HSN.  A few Prima letters, a Paper Trey Ink Banner die and a bit of ball trim and my project was complete.

I am really happy with the way it turned out.  And so happy that my beloved paper is not going to waste because I didn't have any Patriotic photos.
