What a Doll Tags - Prima

hi everyone!  Well, you may remember that I told you how fortunate I was to be able to travel to southern california a few weeks ago to attend the retailer mixed media event.  One of the fabulous teachers that day was Julie Nutting....oh so star struck.  lol  And she even knew who I was....swoon!!!!

Anyway, we got to play with some of her stamps and more of the new art materials that Prima just came out with.  Here is my take....

Aren't they just lovely?  We were able to play with the new crackle mediums, the resist canvas, and glitters as well as the new pinwheel stencils.  Love the gold crackle...you know I had to own it.  hee hee

Anyway, so much fun that day.  And I still have more tags to show you from Jamie's class.

Playday - The Sampler

Hi everyone!  Today I wanted to share with you another project from the December kit from the Sampler.  As my niece has gotten a little older she is much more outgoing and willing to come over and play.  One winter morning she decided to come play and we went out in the yard to have a tea party (gotta love California winters...lol)  Anyway, I was able to snap a few photos while she was setting the table.

I really think the December kit has got to be one of my favorites evah!  lol

Lush and Lovely tags - Prima

hi everyone!  today I want to share with you a few cards I made using the Lush and Lovely Tags kit from Your Memories Here.  This kit features any of the lovely papers from the Prima Rondelle collection.

When I saw this kit I just loved everything about it, the colors, the patterns, the floral embellishments.  But I am not much of a tag maker so I decided to turn the tags into cards.  It was very simple to use the ideas from the LWP class to create these.

I still have so many gorgeous goodies left over and I plan on making a layout or two using the rest of my kit...as these 3 cards barely made a dent.  hee hee

Kristina told me she has just two of these kits left in the store, so pop over and grab yours before they are gone.

Back to Nature

Hi everyone!  I hope that everyone had a great weekend!  Here we were busy with yet another swim meet, holiday shopping...and fortunately time with friends.

Today I want to share with you a project I made for that woman, Heather's, sketch challenge.  I love this sketch...just perfect for the bunches of photos I took of Ainsley when we cut down our tree.

It was such a beautiful day...the sun was shining, the birds were singing...hard to think about winter, and cold winds, and all that ho,ho, ho when it is so lovely outside.

Lots of older Origins papers from Basic Grey with these photos.  Bits of chipboard, tags, and brads.  Feels so good to use up some of my stash.

Well, lots to do today.
